Mobile Observatory 2009

The ACP-EU Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), together with its partners, held the 2009 meeting of its ICT Observatory on ICTs on the theme of “mobile services” for agricultural and rural development. The seminar was held in Wageningen, The Netherlands from 2 to 4 November 2009 and was be attended by around 30 international experts.

The aim of the meeting was to promote the adoption and further dissemination among development partners and agents of appropriate policies and strategies for service delivery using mobile hardware (phones, computers) and local wireless connectivity.
